Gheychak, Gheechak or Ghahaychak regardless of accent is name of an old Bow instrument of East and South eastern part of Iran Sistan, Baluchestan 'Khorasan, spreaded all over neighbouring regions of Afghanistan, Pakistan,  India and Himalayan region of Nepal and further Turkmenistan and China with little Differences and modifications and different in names such as Sarinda and Sarangi. In some of the countries This instrument  is one of the major  Instruments  of their Classic al music as well as  an instrument for  celebration occasions or sad modes in Iran for long time Ghichak like few other Iranian instruments has been absent from the classic music despite of its popularity in folk music But in recent years there has been efforts and interest to utilize the Deep and rich sound of Ghichak as an alter native to violin. As This Gheichaks are Hand made usually they are decorated by the makers and players by the individual Taste so  Ghichak has different colorful looking world  from nomadic charming  rough of Hindkosh to delicacy of Persian and Chinese miniature
